Self-proclaimed prophet claims to have ‘seen’ a doomsday asteroid that will hit Earth on September 21st of 2015

Doomsday prophecies have been around for centuries. But since we are still here, alive and kicking—they have been debunked thousands of times. Still, these prophecies have been circulating the net, baffling many believers.
Self-proclaimed prophet Efrain Rodriguez claims he had a vision of an asteroid hitting Earth. His visions were specific, as he said he saw the asteroid “entering the airspace of the town of Arecibo in Puerto Rico, striking the sea between the island of Mona and Mayaguez and triggering a magnitude 12 earthquake”.
Rodriguez was so sure of what he saw, that he even decided to submit his research to NASA

At the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, Paul Chodas, manager of NASA’s Near-Earth Object office stated: “There is no scientific basis — not one shred of evidence — that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates.
If there were any object large enough to do that type of destruction in September, we would have seen something of it by now.” “In fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century.”
